Adopt a tiger

There are only 540 tigers left in Russia…
Tigers are threatened due to poaching, deforestation, lack of food due to the reduction in the number of ungulates, the destruction of habitat and much more. Any measures to protect tigers from these threats require financial costs.

Help WWF to continue its work on tiger preservation.

A charitable contribution to «Adopt a Tiger» is from 30 000 rubles.

What the "Adopters’" money are used for?

WWF regularly equips anti-poaching brigades, which have already detained about 13,000 poachers, confiscated 3,600 rifles, and facilitated the initiation of more than 470 criminal cases during their work.
Over the past 15 years, 6 new reserves and national parks with a total area of 968,000 ha have been created within tiger habitats.
More than 1 million cedars are planted annually to restore the original tiger habitat.
In the spring and autumn, an active firefighting work is taking place — brigades equipped by WWF with special equipment, monitor and extinguish fires in the tiger habitat.
Every year, WWF vaccinates wild boars, and during tough, snowy winters provides food for wild ungulates.

On becoming an «Adopter» of a tiger, you will receive

A certificate of participation in the «Adopt a tiger» program

You can also «adopt» a tiger on behalf of your company.
