Kamchatka 2020. Samples collection map
The map is the result of public data analysis including those posted on the official web-site of the Kamchatka administration https://www.kamgov.ru/pacific_ocean
It shows the exact places where samples of soil, water, biological materials were collected by the staff members of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health (Rospotrebnadzor) and Kronotsky Reserve. The data collected by Greenpeace had been published on the organization's website and was not put on this map. There is no data from the Pacific Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry on the map since such information is publicly unavailable.
We put effort to update the map as soon as new data becomes public. However, one should not consider this map as an official source of information, rather than an attempt of comprehensive and open coverage of the issue.
