SPORTS TIME FOOTBALL FESTIVAL COMBINES FOOTBALL, TEAM BUILDING AND CHARITY IN ONE PLACE

28 september 2018
Sports Time, a project unique for Russia, was launched in Moscow. The project combined football, team building, business and charity in one place. Part of all funds raised for the tournament will be transferred to Vera Hospice Charity Foundation and the World Wildlife Fund.
"WWF likes the idea of Sports Time: on the one hand, it is a sports story aimed at popularizing a healthy lifestyle, and on the other hand, it is one more way to draw people's attention to charity in general and to the activities of our fund in particular. Seeing the enthusiasm of its organizers and the successful first match, we can hope for our fruitful cooperation in future," Irina Vorobyeva, Fundraising Director at WWF Russia, said.

The festival guests also noted the good organization of the event.

"Everything was very well organized! So, you should not necessarily spoil before you spin", Victor Gusev said, who commented all matches of the Sports Time tournament and personally presented the cups and medals to the winners and runners-up.

The winner was the team of Moscow Brewing Company that outscored Obed-Bufet team in the golden play-off final. Lactalis Vostok team won the bronze medal. The Fight Nights team of stars took the honorary fourth place in the golden play-off.

The cup winner in the silver play-off was the team of Moscow Credit Bank. The second and third places were taken by Papa John's and M.video teams. The fourth was the team of Burger King who won the special award as "The Most Prospective Team."

The next Sports Time tournament will take place in November.
