5% of each sold figure of tiger, lion, cheetah and white tiger by Schleich will be used to preserve the Amur tiger, the snow leopard and the Persian leopard. The Russia-wide campaign will be held from October 1 to December 31, 2018.
"Careful attitude to nature is a key in the philosophy of both WWF and Schleich. That is why, we are glad to be part of such an important and useful project as conservation of rare animal species in Russia. Schleich is a producer of toys, for this reason we consider it important to draw attention of our young audience to the issues of nature conservation and tell them in an understandable form that love for animals also involves careful attitude and big responsibility. We hope that socially important initiatives will soon become not a one-time event, but a popular trend in the Russian business," Anastasiya Fedorova, head of marketing at Konik (exclusive distributor of Schleich in Russia), commented.

For many years, the German office of Schleich has been supporting WWF and from 2006 as its official partner. This year its Russian office decided to follow the example of foreign colleagues and support the initiatives of WWF Russia.

"We are happy about our partnership with the Schleich brand," Irina Vorobyeva, Director for Relations with Corporate Partners and Supporters of WWF Russia, said. "We hope that our cooperation will help us to get across to children the importance of caring about the world around and developing a responsible attitude to natural resources."

Schleich is a recognized world leader in the production of various toy figures. Since 1935, the brand has been acquainting children and adults with the wildlife, domestic animals, characters of favorite films and cartoons and heroes of fantastic worlds.

The brand cooperates with the Berlin zoo and zoological museums, whose consultations are a guarantee of maximum correspondence between the animal figures and their real prototypes.

The brand places a special focus on safety issues. All figures by Schleich are made of non-toxic ecological polymer. The items are constantly controlled for quality and undergo multiple tests.

The company places high emphasis on transparency in production relations, including at the companies of international vendors. The brand also thoroughly monitors the work conditions and compliance with social guarantees for its personnel.

The work for preserving the Amur tiger in the Russian Far East is carried out with the support of the Amur Tiger Center and WWF Russia.
