Professional Mountain climbers help snow leopard monitoring team

16 may 2016
WWF calls on professional mountain climbers to support the serious monitoring of snow leopard.

Field workshop for climbers was organized to make the sportsmen familiar with the basic knowledge on track detection and information fixing. It is an experiment WWF experts want to try to rely on those who visit the snow leopard habitats often, sometimes see the tracks or even animals but do not share the information. Such volunteer monitoring will be a great contribution to the difficult and resource – taking monitoring process.
