The Amur basin council had considered the Scheme of complex use and protection of waterbodies of the Amur River basin

Recommendations of WWF and other NGOs, as well as the Khabarovsk and Amur Provinces administrations, will be included into the Scheme of complex use and protection of water bodies of the Amur River basin.
A working group will be formed to engage all organization interested in improving the document. Yurii Darman, head of WWF-Russia Amur branch, and Pyotr Osipov, head of the Amur branch of Socio-Ecological Union, were proposed to become members of the group to push forward environmental requirements.
