Living Taiga Journalism Contest winners meet on Petrov Island

A traditional meeting of the contest winners call a School for Environmental Journalism was held on August 11-5 in the Lazo State Nature Reserve with the support of WWF and Amur Tiger Center.

Participation in the field School is the highest award of the Living Taiga contest. This meeting was a ten-year anniversary. 70 journalists representing 36 mass media organizations from across the Russian Far East gathered together to share the knowledge, to learn more on nature conservation actions of the governmental and non-governmental organizations.
