Representatives of Russian and Chinese protected areas of the Amur River basin got together at a seminar organized by WWF to raise questions of the transboundary conservation of Amur area.
In September 10-27, 2004 the meeting "Green belt of Amur: conservation of crossboarder biodiversity" was held on the basis of Russian and Chinese
specially protected natural areas located within Amur river basin.
