The Land of Leopards visitors center turns 5 years old this April

The Land of Leopards visitors center opened in 2006 by WWF invites guests and tells about the Amur leopard, the rarest wild cat on the Globe. Planting a forest for leopards is the main topic of this April.

WWF staff tells center’s guests about the threats leopards face in Russia and neighboring China, about the importance of protected areas created in its habitat, about perspectives for declaration of the Land of Leopards national park that will be part of the planned Sino-Russian transboundary nature reserve targeted at saving tigers and leopards.
