WWF is running a new online project dedicated to the rarest wild cat – the Amur tiger.
The internet resource is getting more popular with every passing day. One can get a Tiger Passport, see how large the tiger home range has become, and leave your own track in the Far Eastern taiga.
According to Svetlana Titova, protected areas project coordinator at WWF Russia Amur branch, a project co-author, “The online project is aimed to attract the most active part of the society – school kids and students who “live” in the social network and have lots of friends across the globe”.
