Exposition of Marine State Nature Reserve tells stories about the Bikin River native people

07 december 2012
In November, the Marine State Nature Reserve had its 35-years anniversary. WWF has prepared an unusual present – a set of the national apparel of the Udege aboriginal tribe historically living near Bikin.

The embroidered men, women and kids costumes were manufactures by the Udege craftswomen who strictly followed the design patterns and traditional techniques.

Apart from the apparel the Reserve’s museum was presented with decorations, talismans and averters, and other items of the Udege culture.
