Planned Dvina-Pinega Landscape Reserve
The territory of planned Dvina-Pinega landscape reserve is one of the largest frontier forest landskapes in Europe. Protection of these forests is of primary importance for concervation of wild forest reindeer population. Besides, the rivers that flow through these territories are essential for atlantic salmon sprawning.
Leaflet was created by spesialists of WWF-Russia in cooperation with Centre for environmental protection in the Arkhangelsk region with support from the international BPAN project.
